Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal on Wednesday said that the prejudiced PPP which has been ruling for decades Sindh, is considering Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s (KMC) assets and properties as Asif Zardari’s personal dynasty.
The handing over of the KMC-owned Karachi Institute of Heart Disease to the Sindh government is totally illegal, and beyond the authority of the incumbent unelected, controversial Administrator.
Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases is the fourth hospital in Karachi built with KMC tax and is a KMC-owned hospital which has been illegally captured by the Sindh government.
The PPP, under a well chalked out conspiracy, first destroys the civic institutions by not providing funds and resources so that the educated and competent people are forced to quit their jobs.
Biased PPP government takes the public welfare institutions to such a low point of destruction where the people stop even looking at these institutions and then by illegally occupying these institutions, PPP makes appointments on political grounds, and kickbacks, thereby opens new doors of corruption by turning each institute into Sindhu Desh.
“During my tenure, Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases used to ensure free of cost quality treatment, necessary tests, medicines and other facilities to hundreds of thousands of patients.
After making illegal occupation of the provincial government over Karachi Institute of Heart Disease, next in line is Karachi Medical and Dental College from where some youngsters of Karachi used to get admission on merit basis and become doctors but now its been taken over so that youth of urdu speaking community could no longer become doctors.
We will not allow the biased Sindh government which has been miserably failed to establish new institutions to take over civic institutions.
He expressed these views while talking to the officials of PSP Medical Aid Committee.
He added that if there were no NGOs, welfare agencies and private hospitals, all records of deaths in government hospitals in Sindh would be broken.
The condition of hospitals under the corrupt and incompetent PPP-led Sindh government is pathetic. It has taken the hospitals of Sindh to the point where the animal hospitals of civilized societies are much better than them.
It is time to get rid of the PPP’s biased government. After Ashura, the PSP will launch a movement against the PPP’s Yazidi government.
