Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Sunday visited Clifton Drive Through Vaccination Facility. Parliamentary Secretary for Health Qasim Soomro, Deputy Commissioner South Irshad Sodhar and others were also present on the occasion.

He inspected the facilities at the center and sought information from citizen visiting center for vaccination. The provincial minister said that the drive-through center has been providing facilities to the citizens since July 18 and the Sindh government has set up this vaccination center in collaboration with JS Bank.

He said that he appreciated the services of JS Bank adding that a large number of citizens were coming to the center for vaccination. Provincial Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah further said that in view of the rush of families, the counters have been increased so that more citizens could be vaccinated in less time.

He said that more drive-through vaccines are being set up in the city in collaboration with JS Bank and other institutions. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah urged citizens to follow Covid 19 SOPs to keep themselves safe and make the city safe. He said that tough decisions have been taken so as to save the lives of the people.

He stated that the number of vaccination centers was being increased across the province. Today, 11 centers in 6 districts of Karachi have been given the status of Mass Vaccination Centers which will continue to operate 24 hours a day.

These include Dow Ojha Campus, Khaliq Dino Hall, JPMC, Lyari General Hospital, Children’s Hospital Central District, Liaquatabad and New Karachi Sindh Government Hospitals, Sindh Government Qatar Hospital, Murad Memon Goth Hospital, Korangi 5 Hospital and Saudabad Sindh Government Hospital.
