Drug Court for Sindh at Karachi Chairman Iqbal Hussain Maitlo on Thursday while hearing a case of selling expired drugs ordered to convict the accused till rising of the court and fined Fifty Thousand rupees .
It was mentioned on the decision of Honorable Chairman Drugs Court Iqbal Hussain Maitlo that Provincial Inspector of Drugs upon receipt of complaint from Ms. Sara lodged the instant complaint before this court wherein it was asserted that accused sold expired capsule.
Moreover it was also learned in the said decision that accused namely Muhammad Shakeel plead his guilt and stated that he have decided that he will not repeat his crime in future and will left the work of medicine forever.
The Expired drug which was sold worth Rupees 350 Only and whereas the case against proclaimed offender Ms. Gulzar Begum be kept on rant file till her arrest or otherwise, mentioned in the court order.
City News observed that the pharmacy where complainant purchased expired drugs situated in Ghazali Road, Block 2 PECHS Karachi.
