At the behest of the Director General KDA, the process of auctioning properties of the Karachi Development Authority has been started.
In light of the recommendations of the Auction Committee set up for the auction, the administration has successfully completed the auction of the areas in the last days.
According to details, On april 21, after the auction, 26 plots in district Korangi and Surjani Town and 22 plots in Clifton and Gulistan-e-Johar has been successfully auctioned.
In Auction of KDA property approximately Rs 2 billion has been obtained while through auction not only authority will be financially stable but it will be possible to eliminate any obstacles in the provision of basic rights of employees. First time in the history of Karachi Development Authority auction process was computerized and process was shown live from the KDA’s Facebook page.
During auction, the aspiring applicants took part in auction successful applicants deposit 25% money in the form of bank order while plots will be allotted to successful applicant after the clearance of dues.
During auction Director Land, Secretary KDA, Director Recovery, Director IT, Director Estate & Enforcement, Additional Director Commercial and other officers were present.
