Sindh Green Foundation Leads Youth-Led Earth Day Celebration in Shahdadpur, District Sanghar.

Sindh Green Foundation (SGF) is at the forefront of climate action, empowering children and young people to take charge of their future.

SGF is actively working for environmental conservation in district Sanghar and surroundings. On Earth Day, SGF celebrated in Shahdadpur, District Sanghar, with a series of impactful events.

The celebration began with a thought-provoking session on environmental conservation, where young experts highlighted the urgent need for sustainable environment friendly practices, waste management, and conservation techniques.

Children and youth actively participated in the discussion, highlighting their passion for a greener future.

During the session, participants actively asked questions about the background of Earth Day celebrations at the global level and also inquired about country-level efforts to combat climate change.

Following the session, a vibrant Earth March was held, where participants carried banners and posters demanding climate justice, an end to waste and pollution, and emphasizing the importance of tree plantation. The march resonated with the message of protecting our planet for future generations.

“We are dedicated to empowering children and youth to become environmental champions, leading the way for a sustainable future, we are actively working with children, youth and local indigenous communities” said Mr. Noor Muhammad Mangi, Executive Director at Sindh Green Foundation. “SGF’s Earth Day celebration inspired children and youth to become agents of change, promoting environment friendly practices at local level.

The event also promoted collective action, urging leaders to prioritize climate justice.
