The Pakistani American community celebrated 55th foundation day of the Pakistan People’s Party at a local hotel in New York.

People’s Party’s Overseas Chapter PPP USA organized the event, in which the PPP USA officials and other personalities from the Pakistani overseas community participated.

On this occasion, PPP USA President Khalid Awan and other dignitaries welcomed all the participants and prominent personalities also expressed their views on the importance of the establishment of Pakistan Peoples Party for democracy in Pakistan.

While renewing his pledge, he said that there is a need to strengthen the party manifesto and Bhutto’s philosophy in the current situation.

On this occasion, the President PPP USA, Khalid Awan welcomed Dr. Sahrish Waqar, a professional and intellectual woman of the community, for joining PPP USA and welcomed her in PPP USA.

While Thanking to PPP USA President she said that she has played her role for the development of Pakistani people and also get the opportunity to learn a lot from all the senior people which has increased her political training.

Dr. Sehrish further said that I belong to the city of Lahore in Pakistan, after immigrating to America, I am performing my professional duties as a medical analyst.

” I am happy that the current chairman of PPP is Bilawal Bhutto Zardari whose political ideology is different from other politicians of Pakistan, which is evidenced by the activities of their foreign Ministry”, she added.

Therefore, we all have to play our important role for a prosperous Pakistan and to strengthen the hands of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the enlightened and young leadership of Pakistan, so that he can resolve the problems facing by country by taking the command of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
