Acting Vice Chancellor of Jinnah Sindh Medical University and Executive Director of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center Professor Shahid Rasul on Thursday met with the Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahu in which Prof. Shahid apprised the Provincial Minister regarding his meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
Professor Shahid Rasul informed the Minister Ismail Rahu that during his meeting, he informed the Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah about the problems of JSMU and JPMC.
The CM approved an increase in the grant of JSMU, instructed the Acting VC to meet the shortage of clinical faculty and administrative staff by hiring personnel, and advised him to call meetings of the university senate and syndicate.
