First time in the history of Pakistan a Rural Board Division has been established to provide water to Karachi rural areas in this regard district council Karachi chairman is assigned a permanent member of governing body of Water Board of Karachi this decision has been taken under the presidency of Provincial Minister Nasir Shah in meeting also approved decision and made DCK Chairman sit in session.
Sources have told regarding meeting that water bill of every month will be collected from villages after registering villages of Karachi under restored Rural Water Division although district council water supply workers will also be mentioned in it and as per need of new workers in rural board soon new policy against employment will be demonstrated.
Sources further told that It is also be remembered that PPP elected MPA Sajjad Jokhio who is also a chairman of Water Board Karachi, he had established Rural Water Board Division few years before and interviews were also taken for employment but after that matter was put in pending which now has been recovered.
