Port Qasim marine Security officers assaulted on fishermen brutally here on yesterday when fishermen were busy in fishing.

2 fishermen Bedar S/O Raja Sultan and Hussain S/O Muhammad Amin became unconscious because of severe torture who were sent local hospital for treatment. After the cure injured fishermen were sent home.

On the other hand fishermen of Lat Basti crowded who remonstrated against secretary officers and personnel aggressively and raised serious mottos against them.

On that occasion Fishermen Sagar Hanif, Mustafa Jat and others talked with journalists and said that many schemes have been set up in sea in the name of development and hindered the routes of fishermen.

They said that due to the hunger and unemployment they go inside sea to earn bread and butter for their children but Port Qasim personnel have brutalise and torture on them with out any reason.

They further said that they are local and ancient residents but security officers have violated the rights of humanity victimizing on fishermen.

More over they said that they do not find any one who can support them and take a stand against injustice that’s why they are being attacked by security officers.

They appealed federal and provincial governments to take action against security personnel who were alleged in assault on fishermen and Fishermen should be allowed for fishing.
