All Sindh Irrigation Trade Union’s staged Long March for the solution of department and worker’s fundamental issues led by President Abdul Raheem Bharo, Chairman Dado, Abdul Karim Sheedi, General Secretary Iqbal Ahmed Larak and others which was commenced on 6 January from Bhit Shah and approached at Malir Karachi after 12 days by the way of Ghaghar.
On that occasion political, social workers and Ghaghar habitants welcomed caravan and threw flowers on them.
Caravan dwelt at Gulshan Hadeed lost night and will go through Malir towards Karachi Press Club in the shape of rally where they will sit- in before Chief Minister House.
On that occasion heads of All Sindh Irrigation Trade Union talked with journalists and said that department and workers offsprings be given jobs as per Son Kota, workers be promoted and provided health facilities, non-functional mechanical division should be functional in order to save millions rupees machines from destruction.
They proclaimed to hand over charter of demands consist on more than 16 demands after preparation.
