Pakistani sports presenter, Zainab Abbas, has been reportedly deported from India over a ‘disputed case’.

According to a local media outlet, this unfortunate development occurred after Indian lawyer Vineet Jindal has formally lodged a complaint against Zainab highlighting a series of older tweets that resurfaced on the social media platform ‘X’ formerly known as Twitter. These posts are allegdedly said to have content perceived as “anti-Hindu” in nature.

Jindal claims that these alleged anti-Hindu tweets were originally posted around nine years ago under the username “Zainablovesrk,” which now has been changed to “ZAbbas Official,” which is currently the active X account of Zainab.

It’s important to note that Zainab was serving as a presenter for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
