Thardeep Rural Development Program (TRDP) organized a workshop to highlight the social activities of vigorous women of Manjhand town on Friday.
The workshop was organized at Union Council Shah Awais of Taluka Manjhand and it was attended by women activists of five Union Councils of the City. The women briefed the workshop pertaining to the various activities carried out by them in their areas.
The women briefed the workshop that they carried out activities including financial assistance to the poor and disabled workers and widows, provision of clean drinking water, paved roads, free treatment facility under health insurance card and vocational training.
Addressing the workshop, the Medical Superintendent (MS) of Taluka Hospital, Dr Noorullah Larik said that Thardeep has always cooperated with the district government regarding health and today it has proved that it is working hard to support and encourage the people.
Nasreen Khan, manager of Thardeep district Jamshoro, said that her organization has always cooperated with local people of the district and this workshop was also arranged to encourage the women who are serving the society.
