General workers Meeting of Watan Parast Union KDA held at Civic Center Karachi. Speaking with the participants Syed Imran Hussain Jafri Patron in Chief of union stated that, Despite of raising issues of employees several times with the management there is no progress, The management is also showking non seriousness in the affairs of work charge scrutiny committee which constituted by previous Director General KDA.
Moreover he added that due to the ban on Re-hiring of Contract employees larhe number of employees and their family members are facing severe financial crisis nowadays.
Syed Imran said that the Ex Army Personnels are also effected by this ban as they were hired by the management on Contract basis for security purpose, whereas management is also not taking further action on the rehiring of women teachers who were performing duties from a long time.
He informed that, Due to the said reasons Watan Parast Labour Union by the support of Central Cabinet, planning to stage Protest outside Press Club and Chief Minister house, if the issues issues were not resolved on a priority basis.
Watan Parast Union Patron In Chief said that we would not get silent on the injustices with employees would play the role of trade union in a peaceful manner.
Furthermore he shared that we obey the philosophy of Chairman PSP Syed Mustafa Kamal, Union would inform employees about the future strategy very soon.
Sharing his views on promotion he added that the Union have eyes on DPC and would not let the management do injustice with employees like the previous.
It was learned that large numbers of employees of Karachi Development Authority were present on the occasion.
