Watan Parast Union to stage protest after lockdown; If KDA Employees issues would not resolve

Labour Federation KDA Watan Parast Labour Union actions are now replicating by other unions in Karachi Development Authority, If those unions would work with honesty and dedication then the issues of employees will resolve easily, Syed Imran Hussain Jafri Patron in Chief of Union shared these views in a press statement.

Either it’s the demand of Workcharge Employees Salaries or the addition in grant, Watan Parast Union raised these issues with higher authorities including Minister Local Government and Management of KDA from the very first day , he added.

Moreover he added that,Its great to see the unions are following watan parast union line of actions because they know that Watan Parast Union is working for the betterment of employees.

Further Imran Hussain Jafri while criticizing the role of other union in KDA questioned that from last 35 years unions in KDA have not raised voice for security department employees but what’s the reason behind that they are raising voice for the said department employees as their issues are not new it from the past.

In addition he stated that other unions aim is just to do politics they have no interest in resolving the issues of employees, he urged employees to cast vote in union elections with honesty as if you vote to the wrong union then after becoming CBA they will not work for the betterment of employees.

He urged management for the payment of 20 percent special allowance to KDA Security department employees. He also demanded for the resolution of KDA Workcharge employees issues and warned that the union would stage protest after lockdown if the issues of said employees would remain unresolved.

Watan Parast Union Patron in Chief raised a question from the management that if special allowance would be paid to accounts and secretariat employees,so why the security department employees are not getting this allowance as they are performing special duties amid lockdown.

He urged Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and DG KDA Dr Saif ur Rehman for payment of employees salaries and pensions on time and revival of medical allowance including the resolution of all the pertaining issues of employees.

At last Syed Imran Hussain including, General Secretary of Union Zeeshan Malik, Senior Joint Secretary Naseem Ansari and Information Secretary Yasir Ali Khan warned management that the Union would stage protest after lockdown if workcharge employees would not get salaries.
