Pakistan captain Babar Azam is currently playing for Colombo Strikers in Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023. In a match against Galle Titans on Monday, Babar scored a blazing match-winning century off just 57 balls and became the leading-run scorer of the tournament.
The cricketer turned commentator, Ramiz Raja, laden his heartfelt praises onto Babar while he was midway through his innings, expressing his effusive admiration for the right-handed batsman and humorously wanting to marry him.
“Fifty in security, class, and quality, calmness. He is your guy in such a situation, in the back deep in the innings. I just absolutely love him – wanna marry him,” Ramiz said while commentating during the match.
It is worth noting that Ramiz had explicitly favored Babar during his tenure as Pakistan’s Cricket Board’s chairman. However, Babar has been consistently making headlines for his exceptional performance on the field, but he also garnered attention as well as critique for having limitless support from the former PCB chairman during his tenure.
