With the collaboration of KMC, Sadaf Educational and Welfare Society and Women Sports Complex celebrated green independence day ,a successful one-day tree plantation campaign was organized in collaboration with Happy Palace School and Tulip Organization
100 trees were donated by Happy Palace School and Tulip Organization, and a joint effort was made to plant trees and establish a fruit garden.
On this occasion, Director Culture and Sports Reza Rezvi, Senior Director Municipal Services Zulfiqar Abro, Director Parks Rashid Ali, Additional Director Shams Masoodi, Founder Tulip Welfare Mrs Rehana Saif , Director Women Sports Complex Yusra Saif, Sadaf Bhatti, head of Sadaf Educational and Welfare Society, convener of the Women’s Committee of FPCCI, and Vice Principal of Happy Palace School, along with other dignitaries, were present.
Sadaf Bhatti expressed her gratitude to all participants for making the event a success.
She said that due to environmental changes, our temperature is rising rapidly, and we need to plant trees to protect ourselves from the severity of heat, as it is a matter of our life and survival.
In this regard, Sadaf Educational and Welfare Society has organized tree plantation campaigns in Karachi, Lahore, KP, Gilgit, and Baltistan, and over 600 trees have been planted across the country on August 14.
