Karachi; A meeting was held under the president ship of Transition Officer of DMC East Naveed Khan Kolachi which was attended by Town Municipal Commissioner Safoora Munawar Hussain Mallah, Town Municipal Commissioner Gulshan e Iqbal, Javed Kalwar, Town Municipal Commissioner Jinnah, Ejaz Ali Sheikh, Town Municipal Commissioner Sohrab Goth Imtiaz Magsi and officers of Defunct DMC East.
Addressing the meeting, Transition Officer Naveed Khan Kolachi said that he would play all possible role to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to him in the transition period, the officers should take immediate steps for the transfer of assets and other matters to the towns under the given instructions. The towns should be mobilized by ensuring the establishment of the towns as soon as possible so that the elected local representatives can render their services together with the officers to carry out public service.
On this occasion, the Town Municipal Commissioners discussed various issues with the officers and said that an immediate role should be played regarding the transfer of employees, preparations of lists should be kept complete in this regard, while in the case of transfer of assets, it should also be taken care that the towns can fully benefit from machinery and other items.
The meeting was attended by departmental officers of the banned DMC East.
