On the directive of Administrator DMC East Rahmatullah Sheikh, 30% more recovery has been ensured in F.Y 2021-22 as compared to the previous financial year in terms of trade licences With the efforts of Director Taxes Ghulam Mustafa Sheikh and Deputy Director Rasheed Buriro.
In the last financial year 2020-21, targetof Rs. 22 million was met in terms of trade licences from Gulshan Iqbal and Jamshed zones while in 2021-22, 27 million has been recovery in terms of trade licences.
Administrator DMC East Rahmatullah Sheikh has said that the recovery in terms of trade licences is commendable.
Due to the recovery in local taxes, many development projects have been completed in the east district.
However, Director Taxes Ghulam Mustafa Sheikh said On the directive of Administrator in the F.Y 2021-22 removed the shortcomings in trade licences,increased the recoveries over the target which were set in budget.
Practical performance shows that all possible steps have been taken to increase the own resources revenues in which the improvement of the institution has been given top priority, heed.
Whereas he praised the services of Deputy Director Rasheed Brurio in increasing the recovery of trade licences and said that the performance of staff to increase recovery in dmc east cannot be ignored their efforts significantly increased the recovery officers and staff always preferred the organization in increasing recovery and set aside personal interests.
