A meeting held under the presidency of Chairman Safoora Town Rashid Khaskheli along with Municipal Commissioner Munawar Hussain Mallah in which officers of Sindh Solid Waste Management Board also attended and finalize the arrangements regarding lifting and disposal of offals on Eid-ul-Azha.
In the meeting, members of the Town Council and other elected representatives of the local bodies assured their cooperation to the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board in making the best arrangements and given their suggestions for better arrangements.
Sindh Solid Waste Management Board officers said on the occasion that it would be our endeavor to carry out better lifting and disposal work of Offals/waste materials this year it will be improve and in which special importance would be given to the opinion of the members of the town council.
Chairman Safoora Town Rashid Khaskheli said on the occasion that last year we have performed duties on Eid-ul-Azha and the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board had done a good job in it, but there is a need to understand the mistakes of last year and improve this year it, especially by increasing the number of Suzukis.
Safoora Town is a town of all kinds of settlements, so it has to be taken care that there should be an integrated system for lifting and disposing of waste/offals so that the public does not face any kind of difficulty, adding that uc vice chairman and other members of the council will provide support to the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board in Eid-ul-Azha, so the officers of SSWMB will follow and take action on their complaints.
He reiterated that all possible measures would be taken to provide a clean environment to the residents of Safoora Town on Eid-ul-Azha.
