Successful Eid ul Adha Offal Removal Operation in Landhi Town

 The three-day Eid-ul-Adha offal removal operation in Landhi Town was successfully carried out, with continuous efforts from the Town Administration and Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB).

The teams remained active around the clock, collecting animal waste and transporting it to designated dumping points.

Chairman Landhi Town, Abdul Jameel Khan, along with Assistant Commissioner Landhi Aun Abbas, Vice Chairman Muhammad Imran, Municipal Commissioner Muhammad Ibrahim Imrani, and Director Sanitation Waseem visited various collection points and monitored the progress of the offal removal operation. They issued on-the-spot instructions to ensure timely lifting and proper disposal of waste to maintain cleanliness in the area.

Whereas, Landhi Town officials were also present during the inspection visits.

The Chairman, along with Vice Chairman Imran, also visited Union Council offices to oversee the operations and ensure smooth coordination.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Abdul Jameel Khan highlighted that lime powder was being sprayed in areas where offal was removed, to eliminate germs and prevent the spread of diseases.

He commended the performance of Jamaat-e-Islami’s elected local representatives, staff members, and sanitation workers for their dedicated service.

He added that all efforts were made to provide a cleaner and healthier environment for residents by staying active on the streets throughout the three days of Eid.

Chairman Abdul Jameel Khan also expressed gratitude to the people of Landhi for their full cooperation during Eid-ul-Adha, which contributed greatly to the success of the operation.
