Sindh Students’Council (SSC) on Sunday held protest demonstrations in various cities of the province against the Sindh University management and its secuirty guards for harrasing and beating students.
In Karachi, the protest demonstration was lead by SSC divisional organizer Saqlain Chandio and Hosho Unar.
The protest was attended by large number of students who chanted slogans against injustices with students.
Talking to media, Saqlain said that students were being harassed and beaten up by security guards who are favorites of university management. He said not only boys students but girls students are also harassed by drivers of university points.
He said Sindh Students’ Council demands immediate removal of security who beaten up Parvez Bozdar and Amjad Jatoi who are also organisers of SSC in university of Sindh.
However,the protest was also held in Sakrand, Hyderabad and Nawabshah.
The protestors demanded removal of security guard Rafiq Brohi who tortured and harassed students. It may be noted that two students of Sindh University, Parvaiz Bozdar and Amjad Jatoi were beaten up by security guards when they were going to a hotel for dinner.
Asa result, Amjad Jatoi was severely wounded and he was rushed to Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS) for treatment.
