A monthly meeting over crime-related issues was held at the SSP district Keamari police office under the supervision of SSP Keamari Mr. Fida Hussain Janwari on 19 May 2021. The meeting was attended by SP Baldia Division Captain (Retd) Faizan Ali, SDPOs, and SHOs of Keamari District Police officials.
SSP Fida Hussain Janwari reviewed the performance of all SHOs and issued necessary instructions to ensure the protection of life and wealth of the citizens and as well as to control the crime in Keamari district.
During the occasion, SSP Keamari Police said that on the instructions of Additional IG Karachi Police Mr.Imran Yaqoob Minhas, a crackdown has been launched against drug dealers in which the performance of police officers will be monitored daily.
He said that If drug dealers were found within the jurisdiction of any Police Station, then the station head will be responsible for negligence and action will be taken against the concerned SHO.
He added that Police have controlled the organized drug dens in the district after that anywhere drug smuggling have been found openly or stealthily, it will be considered the incompetency of the concerned Station House Officer.
Talking to meeting attendees Fida Hussain Janwari SSP district Keamari said similarly, It has been observed that drug addicts are also involved in increasing street and other crimes, therefore I will not tolerate those police officers in the Keamari district who performs poorly in the campaign against eliminating drugs.
Moreover, he instructed the police officials that sensitive areas related to street crime should be identified, and police personnel should be deployed at these places to control street crime and the gangs involved in street crime should be arrested by using CCTV cameras and technical facilities.
