Special shuttle bus service started for police personnel in Karachi; DIG security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed
On the directives of IGP Sindh Raja Riffat Mukhtar and under the supervision of DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, a special shuttle bus service has been started which is providing pick & drop services to the police personnel at various points in Karachi.
The decision has been taken keeping in view the transportation issues faced by police personnel and to reach their respective duty points easily. The shuttle bus service will commence at 0700 hrs in morning and will end at 2000hrs in night.
Initially, the Shuttle bus is running primarily on two routes: SSU Chowkandi HQ to CPO and Surjani to CPO. Whereas, the shuttle bus service is running on two different routes specifically for ladies police personnel: Orangi Town to SSU HQ and Zia Uddin Hospital to SSU, whilst, same routes will be followed vice versa.
On the occasion, DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed said that the step taken will ease the issues of police personnel in wake of transportation.
Under the supervision of DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, Special Security Unit (SSU) is providing a complete logistic support for the cause.
