Karachi : Solangi Community members under the leadership of Engineer Imdad Hussain Solangi, Irfan Solangi, Abdul Khaliq Solangi, Advocate Ajmal Solangi, Ayaz Solangi and Zahoor Solangi staged protest in front of Karachi Press Club aginst ongoing conflict between solangi and jagirani community in Khairpur Mirs, large number of solangi community members from different walks of life participated in the protest.
On this occassion, Engineer Imdad Solangi appealed to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and Inspector General Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon for taking action against the ongoing conflict and arrest all the culprits who are behind it.
He also stated that “We Solangi are peaceful community and we want peaceful environment in District Khairpur”.
Whereas, Protestors chanted slogan for peace in District Khairpur and immediate end of the conflict between Jagirani and Solangi community.
The Protestors also urged the authorities to play their role for bringing peace and stop the killings of innocent people of solangi community.
It was learned that Karachi Bar Association and Malir Bar Association officially condemn the ongoing said conflict and asked Inspector General Sindh Police for issuance of directions to concern SSP Khairpur Mirs and SHO Pir Jo Goth Police Station to control the situation and sustain peace in the area.
