Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET) organized the Seerat-un-Nabi Conference at the campus that was attended by the Chancellor Jawaid Anwar, Registrar Syed Sarfraz Ali and a large number of students, faculty, staff and AMUOBA members and others.
Renowned naat khwan Mahmood ul Hasan Ashrafi presented Qaseeda Burda Shareef and dua was done by Prof. Dr. Ammad ul Haq.
Addressing the conference, distinguished religious scholar Prof. Dr Umair Siddiqui of Islamic Learning Department, KU, said that Allah rewarded every prophet with one particular miracle that conveyed a specific message to the humankind of that period. Any new era starts with every new miracle. Prophet Dawood had the miracle of softening the iron in his hands.
People of that era learned through this miracle to prepare tools by melting or softening the iron.
Similarly, prophet Suleman flew in the air to show that people can fly.
Miracles of the prophets show that God opens the new venues of learning and doors of knowledge to the man through it.
Prof Dr Umair Siddiqui said that the both Baitullah and Aqsa Mosque are the centres of worshiping God and they will always be under supervision of the last holy prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Whoever offers even one namaz in Aqsa mosque, Allah gives him reward of 50,000 namazes. During Mairaj, Holy prophet Muhammad observed plenty of manifestation of Allah.
Wailing Wall is a place where buraq landed from the sky. God gave knowledge to man to save him from the persecution.
He pointed out that Muslims are a moderate nation but never try deform its originality in the name of modernization. There are seven routes in the sky.
Angles are made of light and they reach sky from earth in one day, which is equivalent to our 50,000 years.
Nevertheless, Holy prophet Muhammad went to Mairaj after Isha pray and returned home at Fajr pray.
The Isra and Mairaj event describe that you can make faster means of traveling and even you can travel into the space.
Speaking on the soulful occasion, Vice Chancellor SSUET, Prof. Dr. Vali Uddin, said that the life of the holy prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the mirror of Quran’s teachings. Seerat un Nabi is the source of inspiration and guidance for every Muslim.
Highlighting the divine features of the Seerat un Nabi, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vali Uddin, said that “We shall be following the Holy Prophet, if sincerely following the Quran in its totality.
He totally changed the history of humankind and the miracle of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) was that he brought out men from darkness into light by shedding their ignorance.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vali Uddin remarked that the success depends upon remembering Allah and following the preaching of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW).
