In a shocking revelation citynews learned for the posting of seven ghost employees in KDA Public relations department who are absent from last four months and allegedly taking salaries by sitting at home, sources informed that the said ghost employees are reportedly backed by Secretary KDA .
Sources told that seven employees of KDA Engineering department were posted in the Public Relations Department in the month of January or February 2020 to fill the gap of the shortage of staff when Raees Tabassum was director public relations.
The employees namely Rizwan ul Haq (UDC),Humza Ahmed (LDC), Danish Ali (LDC) , M.Yousuf (LDC), Waqas Hussain (Naib Qasid), Ameer Hussain (Naib Qasid) and Ahtesham Abbas (Naib Qasib) are continuously absent from public relations department from last four months , due to their absence Public Relations Department affairs has been badly affected.
On the other hand sources confirmed that the Deputy Director Pubic Relations informed Secretary KDA two months back about the continuous absence of said employees but still he has not taken action against them which proved that he is allegedly backing them.
Public Relations is one of the important department of every organization but in KDA it is continuously neglecting by the higher officials as the department have no money to purchase even mineral water for journalists who came to the department on a regular basis for the purpose of getting news and other information related to Karachi Development Authority(KDA).
Whereas as per source newspapers supply in KDA Public Relations Department has also stopped due to the shortage of funds.
