Secretary Local Government visits KDA to review departmental efficiency

An Introductory session of KDA- Karachi Development Authority officers was held at Conference room here in Civic Center building which was presided by Secretary Local Government Mr. Roshan Sheikh.

The said Session was attended by DG KDA Dr. Badar Jameel, Member Finance Arshad Abbas, Chief Engineer Ram Chand, Director Recovery, Director Land Atta Abass zaidi, Director Public Housing Nadeem Siddiqui, Director IT Kamal Ahmed Siddiqui, Director Traffic &Eng. Bauru Naveed Izhar, Director Sports Ayaz Munshi, Chief Security officer Rao Ahmed Tariq, Media Coordinator Akram Sattar and other officers. 

On that occasion Secretary for LG briefed by  DG KDA, Dr Badar Jameel regarding all the issues of department.

Whereas During session directors from all the KDA department briefed Secretary for LG regarding all the steps which were taken for funds, revenue generation and Encroachment.

Mr. Roshan Sheikh said that Recovery related record should have to be submitted and all the officer have to improve their performance for the stability of KDA.

Moreover Secretary for LG shared that the detailed report also submitted regarding all the evicted parks, He further said that in this financial year 12 schemes should be completed and Sindh Government will keep continue its financial cooperation and fund will be released for schemes.

During session Director Traffic & Engineering Bureau Naveed Izhar briefed secretary LG that more than 100 Traffic Signals are being controlled by KDA while 4 news schemes have been approved by Governing body.

On that occasion Secretary LG gave instructions that for the implementation of Zebra Crossing  50 intersections must be selected and it would be inaugurated by Chief Minster Sindh.

Mr. Roshan Sheikh said that report must be submitted regarding all the ongoing schemes while fund will be released to only 5 schemes out of 18. He further said that Private Consultant will be hire for HR audit of all officers and employees. Later on Secretary of Local Government said that report should be submitted regarding KDA Land while on the illegal occupancy of evicted land action would be taken against concerned officials.
