Secretary Information Department Abdul Rasheed Solangi along with the officers of the department hoisted the national flag on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee in the premises of the office.
Secretary Information congratulated the entire nation on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee of Independence.
He said that our elders have made countless sacrifices for the sake of the dear country. Freedom is a blessing and we should be grateful to Allah Almighty for blessing us with an free state.
We have to give the country a prominent position on the global horizon by following the principles of unity, organization and firmness of the father of the nation.
He said that they are working to develop the information department on modern lines.
Electronic and social media have been improved, digital media wing has been established, and an state of the art studio has been built.
He said that the vehicles for the department have been sanctioned while the post of Director General Hyderabad has been approved due to which more officers of the department will be promoted in the grade 20.
Employees who have been waiting for promotion for a long time have been promoted through time scale.
DSNGs are being procured to ensure maximum coverage while a new advertisement policy is in place.
On this occasion, Director General Information Department Ghulam-ul-Saqlain, Director Press Information Muhammad Saleem Khan, Director Admin Muhammad Yusuf Ka Buro, Film Director Akhtar Saryu, Director R&R Muhammad Ali Riaz Memon, Director Publication Mansoor Rajput, Director Muhammad Shabia Siddiqui, Director Syed Asghar Naqvi, director Muhammad Faisal Farooqui and other officers were present. All Deputy Directors and employees of Information Department participated in the function.
