Resolving public grievances top priority ;Jam Ikramullah Dharejo
Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo on the directions of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, today heard the grievance of the people in the mini-stadium Kandhkot in connection with the public complaints.
On hearing the complaints, the concerned officers on the spot issued orders to resolve the complaints. Deputy Commissioner Kashmore at KhandKot Munwar Ali Mathani, Peoples Party District President Gul Muhammad Jakharani, civil and NGO representatives, representatives of Bar Association, journalists and including city and civil society members including federal and provincial departments were also present in open Katchery.
The public participated in large numbers and informed of their grievances and other issues. On the occasion, Sindh Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo instructed the officers of the departments to resolve the grievances of the people on a regular basis and send the reports, while the day-to-day facilities for the public in public schools, hospitals and other public places should be ensured that the availability of these facilities is made available to the people and injustice should be eliminated as soon as possible, while speeding up the construction work of the district hospital, the condition of grain market including fruit, fish and vegetable market. He directed the concerned authorities to reduce the scarcity of books in Iqbal Library, release of ADP funds to the district including the removal of illegal load shedding.
While construction of link roads and all the zones of the district and surrounding areas and to improve the drainage system.
Sindh minister for Industries and Commerce Cooperative Department Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo instructed the health officials to restore Thalassemia and the cardiac ward and the top officials should be contacted in writing for the immediate establishment of NICVD.
The provincial minister also proposed to construct residential colonies for journalists and lawyers, while related the construction of a wall to the sports stadium, to double the Indus highway from Shikarpur to Kashmore and for reconstruction the KhandKot bridge , paper work should be completed at earliest.
Listening to the public complaints, he said that for confirmation of NTS and IBA passed teachers he would send recommendations to the Chief Minister Sindh and IBA teachers, while in the view of the provincial government, these issues were already under consideration.
He said that in connection with the establishment of the university in the district, he would propose to the Chief Minister Sindh and Insha Allah would establish the university in this area because public and democratic government believe in providing higher education to the people.
Talking to the media, he said that the district level directives have been issued to the concerned district officers, including the Deputy Commissioner, while other issues and development projects will be submitted to the Chief Minister Sindh.
He said that teachers are an important part of the society and their problems have been resolved by the PPP government and agenda will be brought to the Sindh Cabinet meeting on December 24 to resolve the remaining issues.
He said that a large number of complaints were being received by the fake societies anf the Deputy Commissioners have been directed to investigate the allegations through anti-corruption.
