Chairman Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) Safoora Rashid Khaskheli through a letter to The Additional Chief Secretary Local Government Department Sindh issued on 23rd July 2024 asked for verification of the employees who are working under the supervision of Town Municipal Commissioner Safoora.
He stated in a letter that “The Directors of TMC Safoora submitting compliance report regarding employees absence from duty and the same verification letter sent to Director HR, Director Payroll and Town Municipal Commissioner Munawar Hussain Mallah”.
Chairman informed Additional Chief Secretary through a letter that he is not satisfied by the verification of employees done by the above-mentioned officers of TMC Safoora.
He mentioned in a letter that the Municipal Commissioner submitted that list of 24 employees, but he has doubts about sparing the employees whose list was sent along with this letter.
Moreover Rashid Khaskheli also claimed in a letter that Bogus employees practice is the habit of Municipal Commissioner TMC Safoora as he was suspended in Town Committee Jati District in 2014 and his case was referred to NAB.
At last he asked the Top Officer of the Local Government Department to verify the list of TMC Safoora Employees which has been attached with this letter.
