Rangers arrest suspected extortionists of banned outfit

KARACHI (APP): Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) havearrested two activists namely Rashid alias Khan Baba alias Billa and Ismail alias Chips Wala who are reportedly collecting extortion at behest of a banned organization.

Both the suspects were arrested on the basis of intelligence information from district West here, who were wanted to Swat administration and law enforcement agencies, said a spokesman of Sindh Rangers on Wednesday.

Rashid alias Khan Baba alias Billa had fled from Swat for fear of being arrested and came to Karachi and was reportedly
working for a banned outfit’s extortion group here.

Other arrested suspect Ismail alias Chips Wala, a resident of Karachi, is an activist and facilitator of a banned organization.

The Rangers have also seized weapons and ammunition from the possession of the suspects and handed over both of them to the police for further legal action.
