Raja Umar Khattab name attribution with CTD Complex is proud for us; Kafeel Awan

According to the details DIG CTD (Counter Terrorism Department) Sindh Umar Shahid Hamid named the CTD Civil Lines building “RUK Complex Civil Lines after senior officer Raja Umar Khattab, through a special notification. The building was renamed as RUK Complex. It should be noted that the building of CTD Civil Line has been a target of various banned terrorist organizations for a long time which was once blown up by the terrorists .

The order reads, “In recognition of the services rendered by Raja Umer Khattab, S.St T.St. and Bar QPM and PPM Officer Incharge Al-Qaeda and Daesh Cell CTD Karachi, the CTD Civil Lines Building Karachi is titled as “Raja Umar Khattab (RUK) Complex Civil Lines” instead of CTD Civil Lines Karachi with immediate effect. “All officers shall ensure that CTD Civil Lines is addressed and officially written in correspondence with new title named as RUK Complex CTD Civil Lines Karachi in future.”

In the war on terror, Raja Umar Khattab has skillfully broken the backs of Al Qaeda and ISIS in the province Sindh, therefore we are living in a peaceful environment today said Kafeel Awan, team incharge Al-Qaeda and Daesh Cell CTD Karachi.

he added that It is a great honor to named the CTD building after Raja Umar Khattab and this has been possible only due to his courage and hard work for the department as well as for the country Pakistan.

Speaking to Daily City News, Kafeel Awan said that this wonderful initiative has inspired the CTD personnel, and I hope that all our personnel will continue their operations in the fight against terrorism in a bold manner.

He further said that Raja Umar Khattab is a brave officer who stood on frontline and under his leadership CTD has emerged as a camouflage organization which stands as a leaden wall against terrorists and performing its services for the safety and security of its citizens.
