PS Boat Basin action against illegal medical practitioners

[dropcap]B[/dropcap]oat Basin Police Station party headed by SHO Fida Khan along with the team of Sindh Health Care Commission conducted an operation against non registered Hakeems and clinics in Shah Rasool Colony.

Fida Muhammad Khan Station House Officer Boat Basin stated that a total of eight clinics sealed whereas warning notices served to four clinics.
It is learned that the clinics which sealed are identified as Clifton Health Care Center, Mother Care Clinic, Bashir Clinic & Maternity Home, Junaid Medical Centre, Maternity Home, Ali Clinic and Mr. Prem Clinic.Whereas warning notices served to Hakeem Zafar Iqbal, Dr. Aneel Kumar, Khyber Clinic and Ghazi Medical Centre.
Further SHO shared that the said clinics were exploiting and playing with the lives of poor.
SHO informed that the said clinics were operating in Katchi Abadi where majority of poor peoples live and they use it as an advantage by offering facilities on cheap rates

He said that people could effect by AIDS and other diseases by visiting the said facilities where non-qualified doctors are working.

He emphasized that It’s a serious crime and we can’t allow them to play with the precious lives of citizens.

Moreover SHO warned that no illegal health practitioner would allow to operate in the area the operation against them would remain to continue.
In another action, the Boat Basin Police Station team arrested two street criminals in its jurisdiction, the street criminals identified as Rehmatullah and Shahid.
However, Two tt Pistols with Seven rounds, four mobile phones and Motorcycle recovered from the said street criminals.
Fida Khan shared that, First Information Report registered 422-423/2019 Under Section 23-1A registered against them in PS Boat Basin.
He revealed that During initial interrogation they confess to having committed street crimes in the jurisdiction of Darakshan Police Station.
Whereas, the main target of arrested persons were  Women, who went for shopping or outside from their offices.
He shared that Further interrogation continues with the said accused’s.
