Protest camp for securing Noor Muhammad Burfat village enters in 13th day


Habitants have been sitting in protest camp passing 13 days due to contingency of removal of their oldest village Noor Muhammad Burfat which consists on 63 acres land.

Children, women and oldage are included in a great number at protest camp protesting against builder mafia, Revenue and encroachment police. Innocent children are busy in recitation of Holy Quran at camp.

STP leader Rajib Magsi, ANP Mehmood Masood, Nasrullah Jamali of Jamat e Islami, Dr Imtiaz Palari and others reached at protest camp for sympathy and compassion with residents although appointed bailiff from court approached at village and inspected the village location and went away without meeting with protesting habitants of village.

On that occasion former UC Chairman Noor Muhammad Burfat, Safdar Ali Abro and others talked journalists and told that Noor Muhammad Burfat is an oldest village of Karachi which contains over 63 acres land and approximately 4 thousands houses are built but now builder mafia wants to get removed their village and wants to make residents homeless on the basis of their fabricated and fale documents which they have got prepared from revenue officers after paying heavy amount of bribe.

They added more that today it has 13th day to their set up expostulating camp but sorry to say that government is not ready and interested to take notice.

They said that bailiff of court came to examined the village and went away without listen their point of view.
They demanded Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Caretaker Chief Minister and other authorised and relevant officers to take a notice and issue lease orders the village.
