Pakistan Peoples Party UK organized a conference regarding 5th July via Zoom Video Link. It was arranged by Newly elected members of PPP Media Cell UK, Deputy Secretary Information PPP UK Tanveer Iqbal, Fakhar Imran Information Secretary Greater London and Asad Nawaz Vice President Grater London PPP.
Whereas Ex Chairman Senate and General Secretary PPP Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Chaudhry Manzoor General Secretary Central Punjab, Faisal Karim Kundi General Secretary PPP KPK, Saeed Ghani Provincial Minister of Education and Labour and MPA Sharmila Faroqui attended the session.
Speaking with participants Nayyar Hussain Bukhari General Secretary PPP stated that 5th July would always remember as a black day for history in which an elected government of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto overthrow by the dictator, it was the day on which the foundation of dictatorship laid.
He shared that PPP leaders including Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto has served their life for the revival of democracy in Pakistan.
Moreover PPP Punjab General Secretary Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed said from the arrest and martyrdom of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto PPP leadership and activists are continuously serving for the continuation of democracy in Pakistan.
While criticizing the role of federal government he said like Zia ul Haq era current government is taking actions against print and electronic media organization by suspending their licenses.
He said PPP always raise voice for injustices and would remain stand for this cause.
