Police Arrests Two Suspects Involved in PPP workers Target Killing ,says SSP Korangi Tauheed Memon

 

 SSP Korangi Tauheed Memon said that Police had arrested suspects involved in killing of Pakistan People Party. During a press conference in SSP office he said that an incident of target killing was took place in dhobi ghat area of Zaman Town police station in the early morning today in which two armed accused on a motorcycle shot and killed Noman Abbasi UC general secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party district Korangi.

He added that people present on the spot caught an accused and tortured him to death while the other main accused had fled from the spot.

According to the details after the incident, SHO Zaman Town Malik Ashraf Awan and Chowki Incharge Rao Fayaz started a raid to arrest the accused. The police party successfully arrested the accused Shiraz son of Abdul Razzaq involved in the murder.

In the initial investigation, the accused revealed the name of his dead companion as Faisal alias Cheeta. The accused told the police that he killed Noman Abbasi out of personal grudge.

The police seized the motorcycle used in the incident from the possession of the accused, while a 9mm was recovered from the possession of the dead accused Faisal alias Cheeta. SSP said the accused will be handed over to the Investigation Wing for further investigation.

A few days ago, a UC councilor of Pakistan People’s Party was targeted and killed near Sangar Chowrangi within the jurisdiction of Awami Colony police station.The deceased Amir Abbasi was returning home from Malir Court along with his brother he was shot and killed by two motorcycle-riding accused after a chase.

Awami Colony Police has arrested the accused Naeem son of Salim involved in this murder incident, a rickshaw was used for Riki before the incident to collect information while a 9 mm and a repeater have been recovered from the possession of the accused.

SSP Tauheed Memon said that police is conducting raids in search of other accomplices of the accused
