Karachi; With the efforts of Administrator DMC East, Syed Shakeel Ahmed, another important problem has been removed in district east, the open drain in Block 14 Gulshan-e-Iqbal, which could have caused problems to the citizens at any time, has been protected with the help of a security wall.
Administrator DMC East Syed Shakeel Ahmed inspected the drain and directed to ensure safety measures around the drain and report it, after which work has been started around the drain and the drain has been made safe.
On this occasion, Administrator Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that the open drain at the said place was a sign of fear for the public, yesterday and today he visited the drain, after which the work was carried out on an emergency basis and now this drain has become safe.
It should be reviewed and efforts should be made that citizens do not have to face any kind of difficulty due to open drains, there should be protective walls around the drains.
He was accompanied by Deputy Director DM, Irshad Ali, Assistant Executive Engineer Rashid Fayyaz and other officers.
