Administrator D.M.C East Shoaib Ahmed Malik instructed the rain emergency related departments visit the areas of district east and monitored the condition, some areas till now affected then made proper arrangement for disposal of rainy water if matter did not pertains to d.m.c east, inform concerned civic department for removal of problem and report to Municipal Commissioner Ghulam Sarwar Rahpoto.
These views shared by him during a meeting held in D.M.C East office at adjacent to civic centre karachi.
He asked to the officers inform him about the problems which, who faced during disposal of rainy water then steps will taken in future for the betterment of work.
Officers of different departments told him that proper arrangements has been made, de watering pumps installed on permanent basis on that points where rainy water accumulated as urdu science college university road and other chronic points.
Municipal Commissioner Ghulam Sarwar Rahpoto said that on the directives of Higher authorities including Administrator d.m.c east ,we have taken all the measures and performance of departments are remarkable, in future we are planned that purchase heavy duty De Watering pumps for improvement.
Shoaib Ahmed Malik praised the efforts taken by departmental heads including sub ordinates and hope that it will be continue every time for the betterment of district east.
Superintending Engineer M&E, Mubeen Sheikh,Superintending Engineer Civil, S.Azhar Hussain Shah, Executive Engineer M&E Imtiaz Ahmed Bhutto, Executive Engineers Civil of both zones Iqbal Ahmed Mallah,Salman Memon, Directors Tauqeer Abbas,A.Ghani Sheikh, Agha Sameer, Zafar Iqbal and others participated in the meeting.
