A Delegation of Muttahida Workers Front CBA met with newly posted MD Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KW&SB) Khalid Mehmood Shaikh at his office on Friday, whereas Chairman Irshad Khan, President Nadeem Yousuf, Deputy Secretary-General Waseem Ibrahim, and Member Amir Nafees, Naseer Uddin were present in the said meeting.
On the occasion, Union Office bearers welcomed newly posted Managing Director KW&SB by presenting him a bouquet of flowers and assured for the support of CBA.
Whereas Deputy General Secretary CBA Waseem Ibrahim informed MD that the CBA belongs to MQM-Pakistan.
Moreover, CBA Chairman termed the posting of Khalid Mehmood as a positive sign for the betterment of department, he told MD that workers of KW&SB have trust on you as you have resolved the issues of employees in past also by taking a personal interest.
However, Irshad Khan stated that CBA now has hope that MD would assure payment of leave encashment on a priority basis. In reply to this MD KW&SB assured delegation for the payment of leave encashment after the disbursement of salaries and pensions.
In addition, KW&SB top official also assured the delegation for payment of employees salaries on time without any delay and also said for issuance of the medical store and hospital payment.
