KARACHI : Provincial Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah took notice of bribery/extortion by Sindh Building Control Authority officers and directed DG SBCA Yasin Shar to suspend them later on the order has been issued to suspend all the five SBCA officers and employees.
On the direction of the Minister Local Government the DG Sindh Building Control Authority has suspended all the five officers and the DG has also formed a three-member committee to investigate the matter, in which the Director of Grade 20 Beenish Shabbir will be the head of Commirlttee and other members of the committee include Ali Mehdi of Grade 19 and Jalees Siddiqui of Grade 18.
It was learned that a case of extortion was registered against five officers and employees of SBCA in Preedy police station yesterday.
However, Deputy Director Syed Owais Hussain has been suspended earlier on charges of corruption.
