Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab on Saturday inaugurated the Asia largest Cattle Friendly Market 2025 at Northern Bypass.
Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Murad and Town Chairman were also present on this occasion.
Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab, while addressing the inauguration ceremony, thanked to the cattle market administration for inviting him as chief guest.
He said millions of animals brought to Asia’s largest cattle market while thousands of Karachiites buy animals from the Cattle Market established at Northern Bypass.
Murtaza Wahab said “We want to establish a society where we reduce each other’s problems”. Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab said that we will solve the security issues around cattle market and ensure cleanliness of the area.
Mayor Murtaza Wahab said that prosperity of Pakistan linked with Karachi. He said traders from all over Pakistan brought animal in Karachi’ cattle market to earn good profits.
He felicitated the market administration for the wonderful arrangements.
Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab added that there are traffic problems in the last days and government will assist administration in every possible way.
Mayor Karachi said Bilawal Bhutto’s representatives have started the journey of improvement and this journey will continue.
Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab also assured that illegal cattle markets will not be allowed to set up in the streets.
He explained that some markets will be set up in the city and taxes will also be collected from them.
Murtaza Wahab also told his favorite animal for sacrifice and said that we would sacrifice cows and goats and he will buy animals from this cattle market.
On this occasion, Administrator Shahab Ali thanked the Mayor Karachi, Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad, Chairman of Manghopir Town Haji Nawaz Brohi and others.
Spokesperson of the cattle market, Umm e Aiman, said that “I especially want to thank the media. I would like to thank the teams who play their role in making this cattle market a success until Eid al-Adha”.
The fireworks were also performed at the end.
