Man Commit Suicide over fear of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Karachi
A resident of Karachi’s Kashmir Colony, Port city of Pakistan has committed Suicide over the fear of Coronavirus.
It was learned that, deceased was only bread earner of the family and father of two daughters.
Wife of the deceased stated that her husband was at home after the announcement of lockdown as he was working on daily wages at a service station of Petrol Pump, where he earned 500 to 600 rupees daily.
Moreover, she informed that, Her Husband was very depressed after the lockdown as they are living in a house on a rental basis. Someone told him that he was suffering from the disease of coronavirus and he committed suicide by hanging because of fear.
Speaking with City News Aijaz Khan Station House Officer of Mehmoodabad Police Station informed that, the deceased was 34/35 years old and was a healthy person but committed suicide due to the fear of coronavirus.
He shared that Police had also took his test of COVID-19 from the dead body whose result was negative, so it has proved that he had commit suicide just on the basis of fear.
