KDA Watan Parast Labour Union Patron in Chief Syed Imran Hussain Jafri, General Secretary Zeeshan Malik, Senior Joint Secretary Naseem Ansari, Senior Vie President Altaf Khan, Vice President Qamar Sheikh Information Secretary Yasir Ali Khan and Committee Member Faheem Khan in a joint statement stated that 1st May is the day of workers which reminds us to sacrifice for the rights of labour.
Imran Hussain Jafri shared that, Labourers in Chicago has martyred for the rights of workers, which is an example for whole world
On the directives of Our Party Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal we are fighting for the rights of employees as KDA Watan Parast Union and raising voice on the issues of regular employees as well as for the regularization of contract and workcharge employees of KDA, he added.
He said that in the current situation contract employees are facing severe financial crisis. Whereas Imran Hussain praised the efforts of Minister Local Government that the summary for additional grant for payment of pension to pensioners has been approved and now in the office of chief secretary for approval.
He expressed hope that by the approval of one time grant a lot of issues of KDA employees would resolve . Syed Imran Hussain thanked to Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, DG KDA, Secretary KDA Haji Shakeel for taking interest to resolve the issues of employees.
Moreover he urged for the payment of workcharge employees salaries after the approval of one time grant summary and also urged for lifting ban on rehiring of contract employees.
