On the request of KDA Employees Union Khwaja Izhar ul Hasan Member Provincial Assembly of MQM Pakistan contact with Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Friday to discuss the issue of KDA Workcharge Employees.
A Press Statement of Union stated that In a telephonic conversation Khwaja Izhar informed Minister about the non payment of workcharge employees salaries from last two years on the reply Syed Nasir Hussain Shah told him that the committee formed for the redressal of said employees issue.
MQM Pakistan legislator urged Minister for the payment of one month salary to said employees and asked him to let the committee do its work but considering the current situation of lockdown they should be provided salary of one month.Minister Local Government assured to resolve the said issue on human sympathy basis, it added.
On the other hand Employees Union Patron in chief stated that , Union is waiting for the issuance of salary of workcharge employees.
He warned that if the issue would not resolve then union will stage protest at civic center in leadership of Khwaja Izhar after or during the lockdown.
Moreover he demanded Minister Local Government and DG KDA for the resolution of Workcharge employees issue on a priority basis.
