In an incident yesterday, a 21 years old girl named Rimsha was thrown acid by her ex-husband Syed Zeeshan for making TikTok videos in the Sector 9-C area of Baldia town rushed to civil hospital Karachi’s burns ward, leaving 40% burn injuries to her.
According to the details, the formed team by SSP district Keamari Fida Hussain Janwari arrested Syed Zeeshan accused in a successful operation this morning after more than a dozen raids and tireless efforts using technical ways during the last 24 hours.
The team was led by SP Baldia Division Captain Retired Faizan Ali including the team members SHO Saeedabad, SHO Ittihad Town, SHO Baldia, and SHO Madina Colony had arrested the accused of acid attack within only 15 hours.

Meanwhile the incident case 665/21 criminal Section 336A. 336B were registered on the orders of SSP Keamari Fida Hussain Janwari for arresting the accused in Saeedabad police station. Zeeshan alias Shani who had thrown acid on his ex-wife Rimsha. is now in police custody and is being further interrogated by the investigation police.
Moreover, the mother of the acid victim girl said her ex-son-in-law and her daughter both used to make videos for TikTok, and Rimsha was divorced over Whatsapp despite giving divorce legally, Rimsha’s former husband was harassing her, and before a day he had thrown acid over her, the mother alleged.
