There is scope for further improvement in Karachi Development Authority (KDA) and all the officers and employees are performing their responsibilities for the betterment in department.
KDA not only played a key role in the development of Karachi city by 90%, but Karachi Development Authority is also leading in providing basic facilities to the citizens.
These views were expressed by Director General Karachi Development Authority Naveed Anwar while inaugurating the art gallery in the Public Relations Department. On this occasion, the Spokesperson of Karachi Development Authority Akram Sattar briefed DG KDA about the office and administrative matters. DG KDA, while expressing full confidence in the Spokesperson of Karachi Development Authority, said that the public relations department is like the backbone of KDA, his professional skills have improved the reputation of the department.
He further said that he believe in criticism for reform, there will be a dire need for the help and cooperation of print and electronic media to turn the institution towards development, he added.
It was said that due to the progress made in the administrative affairs of the department, information is being provided easily from the KDA website to public, while social media is fully active on a daily basis, through this new and innovative way , access is being made possible while the process is aimed at adapting the institution to new and modern methods and securing departmental matters.
Later, the Spokesperson of Karachi Development Authority presented a bouquet of flowers and Ajrak to DG KDA.
DG KDA was accompanied by Chief Engineer/Member Technical Tariq Rafi, Member Finance Waryal Indhar, Director Finance Muhammad Kashif Siddiqui, Secretary KDA Behzad Aamir Memon, Director IT Kamal Kamal Siddiqui, Director C&I Muhammad Arshad, Chief Security Officer Rtd.Major Imran including other officers.
