KDA Labour Union Joint Secretary meets Provincial Minister, Special Assistant to CM Sindh to address employees concerns

Zeeshan Abdul Qayyum, Joint Secretary of KDA Labour Union, met with Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Waqar Mehdi, to discuss pressing issues of KDA employees.
Key concerns raised during the meeting included significant delays in the disbursement of salaries and pensions to KDA employees, causing severe financial hardship.
The long-standing unpaid dues of retired KDA employees were also brought to the attention of them.
Qayyum emphasized the need for the provincial government’s support in improving the overall functioning of the Karachi Development Authority.
He also briefed the them on the activities of the KDA Labour Union for the resolution of employees’ issues.
Both Minister Shah and Special Assistant Mehdi assured Qayyum of their commitment to addressing the concerns raised by the KDA Labour Union.
They pledged to work towards resolving the issues of delayed salaries, pension arrears, and other pressing matters faced by KDA employees.
Further, Zeeshan Qayyum stated that KDA Labour Union will continue to engage with the provincial government to monitor progress on the issues raised and advocate for the rights and welfare of KDA employees.
