Chairman KDA Employee Union Muhammad Abdul Maroof, General Secretary Dilawar Khan, President Nadeem Khokhar, Deputy General Secretary Qamar Abbas and Senior Vice President Nasir Khan expressed concern over non functional elevators.
Muhammad Abdul Maroof said that retired employees and widows who are in a state of extreme old age and illness should contact the pension department on the seventh floor for information on their pensions and other arrears but the elevators of the institution are not working and it is constantly closed due to which pensioners are having great difficulty to go to the seventh floor.
In this regard, a delegation of KDA Employees Union met Chief Engineer Development Khalid Masroor who Issue instruction to open a special counter on the ground floor for information on pensions and other arrears, which has not yet been implemented.
Therefore, KDA Employees Union urged Director General KDA Asif Ali Memon ,Khalid Masroor Chief Engineer and Taufiq Ahmed Soomro, Director Finance to repair the elevators of the department and open a special counter for the pensioners on the ground floor.
