On the occasion of International Labour Day, the Patron-in-Chief of KDA Employees Union MQM Pakistan Syed Imran Hussain, issued a heartfelt message emphasizing solidarity with the working class.
He said that 1st May is observed across the globe, including Pakistan, to honor the sacrifices of the Chicago workers and to recognize the ongoing struggle of labourers for their rights.
President of the Union, Abdul Maroof, highlighted MQM Pakistan’s consistent efforts to safeguard labor rights in the country. He reaffirmed the union’s commitment to standing with KDA workers and protecting their rights through all possible avenues.
General Secretary Qamar Abbas, in his statement, paid tribute to the unwavering dedication and sacrifices of KDA Employees Union leaders and members, who have continuously fought for labor rights.
Meanwhile, Yasir Ali Khan, Secretary of Information and Publication noted that the union has approached the honorable judiciary for the approval of a labor-friendly Charter of Demands. He expressed hope that the court’s decision will come in favor of all workers.
The KDA Employees Union reiterated its pledge to continue its struggle for the protection and promotion of workers’ rights in every forum available.
