A delegation of KDA Employees Union headed by Chairman Muhammad Abdul Maroof alongwith President Nadeem Khokhar and Deputy General Secretary Qamar Abbas met Member Finance of Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Shujaat Hussain.
Union office bearers congratulated Shujaat Hussain on assuming charge of member finance post. However, Muhammad Abdul Maroof said that KDA was restored in 2016, then the grant of KDA at that time was 17 crore rupees and now in 2022, The grant of KDA is Rs. 28 crore but despite this CP fund which deducts from monthly salaries of employees , when employees want to get this CP fund they faced several issues and delay in getting it.
On this occasion Nadeem Khokhar, President of KDA Employees Union said that at present millions of rupees are being recovered daily in KDA, then why KDA employees are deprived of medical facilities if some amount is allocated for medical on daily basis then employees can benefit from medical facilities.
However, Deputy General Secretary of KDA Employees Union Qamar Abbas said that when employees pension contribution deduct from their salary every month, then why it takes years to pay their dues at the time of retirement.
Member Finance Shujaat Hussain listened attentively the suggestions and issues raised by office bearers of KDA Employees Union and assured his full support in resolving all issues and said that the condition of KDA would improve InshaAllah.
